Oh Hey, Friday! | 5 pictures of my kid

Well hello there, Friday!  I thought you'd never get here.  I love the weekend!  Although, now that I'm a stay-at-home mommy, weekends are really just more of the same old thing around here...except we get to hang out with Victor during the day.

Max and I had lots of fun over the past week.  Here are some photos of what we got into!

This was last Friday after we had dinner out with Victor's parents and some family friends.  Max was a rockstar and inhaled his chicken quesadilla and some guacamole with no fuss.  During his pre-bedtime bottle and 15-minutes of Sesame Street, he pulled me in for a snuggle.  Melt my heart, why don't ya?!

On Monday, we painted.  I learned my lesson since the last time we painted...only 2 colors are necessary.  Any more and you just get a brown, ugly finished product.

Max kills me with his silliness.  He comes out of his playroom sometimes and cracks me up with whatever combination of toys he has with him.  This time, he rolled out on his Batmobile with his jingle bells and his tambourine.  Ready to jam.

Max pulled these blankets onto the floor, then grabbed his dump truck and nuzzled down for a snuggle.  Because why wouldn't you cuddle with your dump truck?

Max learned a new trick this week: climbing on top of the coffee table.  Thankfully he hasn't tried it since this photo was taken on Wednesday.  I sent this to my mom and sister and they commented on the "state" of my house.  Max is a hurricane.  He tears up the foam mats and empties the cabinet full of bibs, burp cloths, and diapers in the playroom daily.  He removes all the tupperware from the Lazy Susan cabinet (the only cabinet in the kitchen without a childproof lock) and scatters it all over the floor while I make dinner.  We put a lock on the pantry door because he kept bringing us cans of Sprite, bottles of barbecue sauce, and boxes of pasta all day.  Nothing is safe!

Hope you all have a splendid weekend!
